by Duong Sheahan on February 14, 2009

The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate, is probably one of the greatest and most important books that I have read on marriage. I believe that if we took the time to understand what our spouse’s love language is, we will not only enhance our marriage, but it may even prevent our marriage from failing.

Do you know what your spouse’s love language is? Does your spouse know what your love language is? New York Times Bestselling book,The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mateby Dr. Gary Chapman is a must read for all couples who desire to have a thriving and successful relationship.

Dr. Chapman reveals how love is communicated through five different language and it’s important to discover which one of the love languages you and your spouse speak.

The five love languages are: Quality Time, Words of Affirmation, Gifts, Acts of Service, and Physical Touch.

If your spouse’s love language is Quality Time, but you have failed to give that to him or her, but instead focused on Acts of Service, then you are speaking the wrong love language! Knowing one another’s love language may be the secret restoring a failing marriage or just the key you need to enhance your relationship.

I read a comment on another site that you wrote that you were going to do a review of the Glimpse skin care products and I was just curious what your thoughts were when you tried it. Will you be doing a review soon?

This is an awesome book! I read it and I’m not married. Obviously it’s great info for when I am married one day, but I also found that it helped with all of my current relationships with those close to me…my mom, my brother, my nieces, my close friends.
It’s a great read!!! I learned a lot from it…..about myself too…..LOL!
