I’ll be joining the iPhone fanatics shortly but meanwhile, I’m definitely addicted to my iPad where all of my cool apps reside.
Two Apps that are a must download if you’re a traveler and want to strike some amazing deals.
1. Kayak: {2011 Webby Awards for Best Mobile Travel Offering}
I will have to agree this is the best travel offering app. Recently I book round trip tickets to New York City from Chicago (non-stop) for $115.00. Yes, believe it.
And the best part? It was with American Airlines which is my preferred travel airline.
Having racked up thousands of frequent flyer miles and earning free tickets, I’ve been a pretty loyal customer.
Using Kayak brings up all the airlines and shows the best price.
Once you choose the airline with the best deal and itinerary that you prefer, you can choose whether you want to book directly with the airline. You’ll be directed to the airline’s home page to finish your transaction or call the reservation line.
Why do I love that? 
Because I can apply my frequent flyer number when I book directly with my preferred airline. Unless third party booking sites have changed their policy, I’ve but lost out on thousands of miles because I wasn’t able to apply my frequent flyer number to the booking.

2. Hotel Tonight: If you’re really adventurous, this is an absolutely must get app for your iphone or ipad.
This App helps you to find the same day, last minute hotel deals for up to 70% off.
I discovered it the other night and started browsing around to see what kind of hotels popped up in major cities.
I put in Orlando to see deals show up and to my surprise, The Wyndham Resort came up for $49.00/night.
