Healthier & Happier Kids

As a mom with three children, nothing is more important to me than seeing them walk in divine health. When my youngest son developed peanut allergy, symptoms of asthma with several visits to the emergency room, the use of nebulizer treatments at home, various over the counter drugs for frequent colds and respiratory illness… my health journey began. I wanted to find ways to improve his health and I was determined to do whatever it took.

No mother wants to see her child suffer any type of illness; especially the ones that can be prevented. Asthma is a serious illness and as a matter of fact several of my family members suffer from it. There are several things that can be done to prevent asthma. We are grateful for medicine when it’s necessary but when there are natural options without side affects, we will choose that route as a first choice.

Thank God for the internet; there were a lot of late nights surfing the web looking for resources on health and prevention. Discovering healthier alternatives resulted in simple changes to our diet (way of life),  removing certain chemicals in our home, and included the use of various vitamins  and supplements to boost the immune system has improved my child’s health and the family’s as a whole.

It’s heart breaking whenever your child is ill, but it was in those moments  that inspired me to take control of our family’s well- being; hence it became my passion to empower people to live healthier and happier as well as moms to raise healthy kids.

Mom Raising Healthy Kids will include personal posts  and various resources that I find to be helpful for moms desiring to raise healthy kids.
